Spitting

Whilst thinking of things i find as bad behaviour i thought about spitting, why do people spit, whats the purpose of it really? Not only is it a disgusting habit but its hardly hygienic either. Who seriously needs to spit every minute of every day seriously??, and why cant people be civilised and do it in a tissue or attend a bathroom, its just plain and simple bad manners. I work for the NHS and the final straw for me is when i saw someone do it on a ward, i mean come on, its a place for sick people but they don't need no more germs flying through the air. Sorry i had to have my rant on the subject......... therefore i find spitting extremely bad behaviour!
