I was thinking of bad behaviour, or should i say what can be viewed as bad behaviour and thought of abortions. There are so many protests and groups fighting for and against abortions that there are clearly mixed views on whether this behaviour is whats seen as "right" or "wrong". On a personal opinion im all for an abortion if its something both parents agree on. If a girl is faced with this decision alone i would think it would be best to confide and talk to someone to go through all the pros and cons before any rash decision is made. I think for the arguement against abortions being it is killing a life etc, then shouldnt exceptional circumstances be taken into consideration, for example if a girl has been sexually assualted or raped, and the child was conceived in a situation far from out of love, another factor to be considered is if the child would not have a healthy life, is it fair to put the child through pain for or is it wrong to terminate the pregnancy? Obviously i do think people should take responsibility for there actions and if pregnancy occurs through sheer lack of precaution then should an abortion be available............. Its something to think about i suppose, as in 2008 around 195,300 abortions were performed on residents of England and Wales and 91% of these were funded by the NHS, if the option wasnt made available readily would there be so many of the procedures carried out??
