Plastic surgery, is it right or wrong or a personal choice, like most of the topics on the being bad module most of it comes down to personal choice. For some plastic surgery is a way of gaining confidence, lets face it we all feel good about ourselves when we look good, especially for women. For some it is to enhance career prospects (just look at Jordan) and ask ourselves this question would we even know who she was if her boobs weren't ever that big?? Although most of plastic surgery is seen as a high point lets not forget Leslie Ash and her "trout pout", although it was her own choice, to improve her features, i don't think it was fair the amount of abuse she suffered. I personally think if you can afford it and its going to make you happy then nip and tuck at what you like, but do be careful to read the small print!!

I'm on the same wave length as you to be honest, if you can afford and it makes you happy then go ahead! If you end up looking as bad as Leslie Ash or something goes horribly wrong then it has been your choice and hopefully people get informed that there is a possibility that it may not be perfect. I wouldn't label it was bad, it doesn't harm anyone but yourself and it gives the papers and magazines something to gossip about :-)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. if plastic surgery will make you happy in life go for it if u can afford it. if i have the money now i will defo do it.
